The ADB receives the ARCHIBUS Excellence Award

The bank’s impetus to implement ARCHIBUS (ADB-AMS) at Manila HQ in 2010 was brought about by the daily challenges it was facing in effectively tracking its assets. These challenges have outgrown their current system in terms of providing accurate and timely information which is crucial to the bank’s operations.

They had also identified the need to integrate their as-built AutoCAD drawings and asset information into a system that will automate asset management with ability to provide asset visibility in terms of location.

Implementation of ARCHIBUS applications such as Asset Management, space management and Overlay with Design Management for AutoCAD, had addressed these challenges with a systematic workflow that enabled the bank to substantially increase accuracy of asset data and measure performance of their service providers. ARCHIBUS Move Management application also provided the capability for the bank to track asset moves which is critical in an environment where assets are moved constantly and asset data are used to standardize the layout which increasing efficiency in asset acquisition and utilization. The ARCHIBUS deployment in ADB followed strict implementation plan and schedules without compromising the bank’s operations, thereby paving the way for a smooth transition into an automated and highly scalable system. The implementation of the ADB-AMS opened opportunities for the streamlining and automation of other facility operations of the bank.
